This is our mid-year spectacular Christmas event. A full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and a selection of desserts. No one goes home hungry after this. There will also be a Kris Kringle which gets everyone laughing and joining in. Come along, it's a hoot!

Ron will take us to Lancefield for lunch via Yarra Glen for morning tea. The return will be via Blackwood and finishing at Todd Road service centre at the Westgate Bridge. The total distance is about 350km, thats 200km out and 150 back. Anyone not sure how to get back to the peninsula please be sure to let Ron know at or before Todd Road.

Neerim South ride
Venue: Pearcedale Shops
Category: MW Organized Ride
Leaving Pearcedale at 10:30am with no stop for morning tea due to the later start. Heading to Neerim South for lunch via Bayles, Labertouche and Jindivick, then heading home via two loops around Neerim East and Buln Buln before heading for Drouin and Lang Lang, finishing at Tooradin for coffee and/or ice-cream around 3pm. Ride distance is about 210km.
If the weather is dodgy I'll shorten the ride and loop home from Jindivick. It's a more basic country ride with not a lot of Twisties. We'll take it a bit easy due to the conditions and time of year. Great for new riders.

Koo-wee to Kilcunda wander
Venue: Pearcedale shops

The last winter late start will take us through Koo-Wee-Rup and the meandering backroads to Korumburra for lunch. Then back through Loch and down to Kilcunda, Grantville and Kernot for more hilly bits before ending up at Tooradin. Total distance is only about 240km so most will do it on one tank. Fuel in Korumburra if needed.

Tidal River (rescheduled due to bad weather on Sunday 8th)

Ride will be leaving Pearsdale at 9.30, we will be heading to the Prom via Lang Lang, Loch, Kongwak, and to Inverloch for coffee stop and refuel before continuing on via Tarwin, Fish Creek, and Yandkie before heading onto the Prom and to Tidal River for lunch (cafe style take away) around 12.30. we will backtrack off the Prom and crosing over to Foster refuel if needed before picking up the HWY and taking it home through Leongatha, Korumburra refuel if needed, and back to Tooradin where the ride will end at around 4 to 4.30.
Distance is 380k's
The park season reopens next month so there may be an entrance fee onto the Prom, i will look into it.

22nd Golden Dragon Rally at the Tarnagulla Reserve, Tarnagulla, Vic. Amenities on site include showers, ample camping space. Bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Huge bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights, weather permitting. Bar and food tea and coffee onsite. Raffles and prizes. Saturday group ride.
Entry: $20 prepaid or $25 at the gate. Badge for first 200 through the gate.

This ride was to be led by Paul Hoffrichter, however given he's been in hospital for several weeks he is unable to do so. An alternative Ride Leader was tentatively identified however he had to withdraw at short notice. The next branch ride will be on Sunday 13 Oct 2019.

The Village Baxter will be holding its popular Open Day/fete on Saturday 12th October 2019 commencing at 9.00am until 1.00pm.
As the Classic Car and Motor Bike displays have become such a popular part of their displays over the past few years and they are keen to once again include this in their day's events. This is a great
attraction for the community, residents and staff.
A secured display area has been allocated for all participating motorbikes and cars. On the day, participating_members will receive a voucher for a sausage sizzle and soft drink.

This year we will once again be incorporating a grand parade around the village of the motorbikes and classic cars.

Leaving Hall rd servo at 9.30am
Heading through Cranny then up to Berwick, Cookatoo, then onto Gembrook for coffee stop.
From there onto to Yarra junction (can get fuel here if needed), Poweltown, then to Noojee for lunch at the pub or Toolshed.
From there we continue on to Icy Creek and to Willow grove, we will drop down to Moe for fuel for those who need it before heading inland again and across to Neerim sth, we will stop here for 15 mins to stretch before heading home via Jindivick, Labertouche, Koo we rup, and down to Tooradin where the ride will finish at around 4.15pm
Total distance 300k's
Lots of windy road on this ride so be prepared for it.

BYO Everything Family Fun Day
Venue: Pelican Park, Hastings foreshore
Category: Social Event
This is always a fun day in the park. BYO Everything you need, ie: lunch, drinks and extra chairs if you need them. There is lots of shade and grass to sit on, so bring a picnic blanket and just relax. For lunch, bring something from home or visit a local take away to see what takes your fancy. We usually have an activity such as cricket, bocce or kick a footy around, or you can just sit and relax in the sun. Bring the grandkids and make a day of it. This is a free event (cos you're bringing everything). :)
